PRESENTATION
Showing a well-designed and organised course in ATENEA is very important, both for the teacher and for the student. If you want your course in ATENEA to be well organised, more intuitive and interactive, for the teaching materials to be accessible and reusable, etc., this is your course.
In this training activity we present a series of basic tips to keep in mind to guide you in the process of improving the presentation of your teaching content in ATENEA. We will offer you examples and resources so that you can implement improvements in your course and we will show you in detail how you can design a course with an advanced model for displaying the content.
We also present the ATENEA Libraries-ICE Point, a personalised service of guidance and advice on the design and structure of courses in ATENEA that is offered in all UPC Libraries.
METHODOLOGY
The first session will cover the following points:
- The importance of structuring and designing courses on the ATENEA virtual campus. The ATENEA Libraries-ICE Point.
- Presentation of the recommendations included in the Good Practices Guide for designing and structuring a course at ATENEA.
- Presentation of all the resources available to the teaching staff (personalized advice, sample course in the Briefcase, etc.).
- Practical examples of courses that have improved their structure and design. The before and after.
- Detailed explanation of the design of an advanced level subject.
Between the 1st and 2nd sessions, it is proposed that each teacher analyzes their course, makes a proposal for improvement and implements one of them. In the second session, doubts and proposals will be shared.
The material for the session will be available at ATENEA.
