Activity addressed to UPC PDI and PhD students. For doctoral students, this activity belongs to the "Your doctoral thesis" training itinerary. At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Design strategies for publishing
  • Understand what open access and Creative Commons licenses consist of
  • Identify the impact indicators of a journal
  • Identify the characteristics of the sections of a scientific article
  • Discover the changes in scientific communication

The ICE will issue a certificate of attendance to the participants, provided they have previously registered through the established means (electronically through the web) and have been accepted.

The teaching and research staff of the UPC who participate in the activity, a few days after the end, will automatically have the information in DRAC.

For PhD students this course is recommended in an initial phase of making your thesis and it belongs to 'Your doctoral thesis' training path, made of the following courses:
