Take full advantage of databases in Engineering! Learn about the EngineeringVillage platform (Inspec, Compendex), IEEEXplore, Web of Science and Scopus.

Activity addressed to UPC PDI and PhD students. For doctoral students, this activity belongs to the "Your doctoral thesis" training itinerary. It is recommended in an initial phase of making your thesis.

Search strategies
Inspec and Compendex: databases about engineering (civil, structures, computing, electronics, energies, materials and metallurgy, bioengineering, air and water pollution, chemistry, waste management).
IEEEXplore: database by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. including full text from journals, standards and proceedings edited by IEEE/IEE.
Web of Science and Scopus
Web search engines
