Unite!, the European university alliance to which the UPC, wants to contribute to boosting the role of universities in building a world system of open science.
Following this line, Unite! is preparing a MOOC to make known:
- What are Open Educational Resources (OER)
- How to use open-licensed materials in compliance with copyright
- Where to find and post REO
- What are Creative Commons open licenses and how to apply them
This MOOC has been developed on the platform iMooX and with the help of Heygen, online video tool that offers built-in talking Artificial Intelligence (AI) avatars with seamless lip sync to videos.
The course starts on May 6 and will be available to the entire university community in 10 languages, including Catalan and English.
- The MOOC in Catalan is only available in iMooX.
- The MOOC in English will be available on both iMooX and the Metacampus Unite! where you can access it with your credentials UPC.
