The Interdepartmental Commission for Research and Innovation (CIRI) approved theCatalan open science strategy last January 17, 2024. This strategy aims to improve the practice of research and increase the social impact of science. The strategy is based on six axes:
- open access to scientific publications
- research data management
- infrastructures for open science
- capacities and competencies
- incentives and rewards
- knowledge open to society.
In addition, it is aligned with the European Commission's policy on access and preservation of scientific information.
