On the occasion of the celebration of Sant Jordi 2024, the library has interviewed Sebastià Guimerà. A few months ago he just graduated from the Nautical Faculty of Barcelona with a double degree: the degree in Marine Technologies and the one in Systems Engineering and Naval Technology. And he has done it with a thesis that has received the maximum score, matriculation of honour, and which is entitled: Socio-cultural reflection of the maritime sector through universal literature.
What better way to celebrate Saint George's Day, from the library, than to talk about an academic work, by one of our students, which is about books and the sea.
