Collections

Our specialization is the documents and information resources in the areas of naval engineering and civilian navy, designed to support the studies that are taught at the faculty.

Use the different tools to find what you are looking for: the search engine Discovery, the databases i UPCommons (the open knowledge portal of the UPC).

Libraries are closed, but we continue to work for our community UPC. From the FNB library we present a collection of electronic resources in the field of sailing so you can access it directly.

If you want to search for what has been published in the journals we receive, consult the database BaDeMar. It is a referential database specialized in nautical science and engineering.

We have much of the publications of the International Maritime Organization (IMO): regulations and codes, IMO model course, magazine articles, etc.

If you are from the UPC, you can also access the database IMO Vega on the web where you will find all the regulations of the IMO that affect the vessels (amendments, regulations, protocols, resolutions ... as well as the SOLAS convention, the IMDG code, the MARPOL, IAMSAR manuals ...).
