Key themes of futur (common to all groups)
I am well informed about the resources, services and activities of the library
  • Transforming libraries into true resource centers with flexible spaces designed for the creation of ideas and projects and to foster emotional well-being with wide opening hours and managed by diverse professionals
  • Accessing digital information, electronic scientific books and journals, but also other forms and channels of information such as generative information systems produced with artificial intelligence will be fundamental in the coming years
  • Increase collaboration, visibility, dissemination, impact and access to the scientific and academic production of the UPC, retaining, protecting and guaranteeing the digital rights of its authors
  • Advancing open science by reusing research data, citizen science, technology transfer and collaborative research
  • Libraries must be key agents in the cultural dynamism of the University and the promotion of face-to-face activity within the framework of increasingly digital and networked teaching and research
  • Enhance students' reading comprehension to facilitate the critical reading of texts, problems and reasoning that contain complex concepts expressed with specialized vocabularies and terminologies
  • In the society of post-truth, fake news and social networks, it is essential to strengthen students' critical thinking and media literacy. Educating and informing yourself requires learning to seek and evaluate relevant information objectively, questioning sources and looking for evidence of the veracity of information
