The libraries of the UPC they have one of the most important collections of science fiction literature in Spain. The collection was born with the aim of complementing the scientific and humanistic training of the university community, making us enjoy scientific and social speculation, with utopias, dystopias, ucronies, retrofuturism, time travel and space ..... Space travel is the protagonist of many of our titles, with Mars being the destination or origin of many adventures.
But not everything is fiction. The UPC has participated in the 'Mars 2020' mission of NASA, has designed the sustainable city Nüwa, organizes the Mars XXI project, aimed at students in the second cycle of ESO ... La UPC has reached Mars, but Mars has long been present in the UPC.....
