Anyone can freely access the libraries and consult the books and journals of free access. However, access restrictions can be established when circumstances so require.

To use the specific services and resources, you must be authorized by the LibrarySome of these services may incur a cost according to the rates Approved in the university's annual budget.

Authorized users

You can use certain services for 2 years after obtaining the degree, by accrediting yourself with it mobile card or the card  UPC if you still have it

After this period, you can continue to enjoy the same services by becoming a member ofUPC Alumni

Request a temporary loan card by giving the library a justification signed by your tutor, a card-sized color photograph and the application form of the card

You have to prove yourself with the card from your university or the Library of Catalonia if you are: 

  • Undergraduate, postgraduate, master's and doctoral student,

  • POI, 

  • PTGAS,

  • researcher o

  • another authorized user

of the UB, UAB, UPF, UdG, UdL, URV, UOC, URL, UVic, BC, TCM and UIC to use the service of On-site loan service, by which you have the right to borrow 10 documents during 21 days ia fer 6 renovations

If your university has no agreement signed with us and you need to loan our funds:

If you work in any of the entities linked to the UPC and you do not have a card UPC, brings the mobile card through the Library Service application. Download the application, select Student, PDI and PTGAS as user type and validate with your Intranet username and password UPC.

If you work in any of them Group entities UPC, activate your card on your mobile using the APP UPC

If you are not part of the heads of the previous groups and you need to use the loan service of the libraries of the UPC, you can request the permission of the head of the library by handing the library a copy of a document proving your condition, a passport-size color photograph and a copy of the application form of the card
