In order to evaluate the scientific production, bibliometric indicators based on the number of citations received by articles and / or magazines are taken into account.
The National Agency for the Evaluation of Quality and Accreditationaims to contribute to the improvement of the quality of the educational system through the evaluation, certification and accreditation of teaching, teaching staff and institutions.
The following programs consider bibliometric indicators:
ANECA, through the Comisión Nacional Evaluadora de la Actividad Investigadora (CNEAI) evaluates the research activity of university professors and staff of the scientific scales of the public research bodies of the General Administration of the State, with the objective to be recognized as a productivity supplement (six years).
The Plenary Session of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI) has approved, at the session held on December 9, the criteria for the evaluation of research activity, which will be published in the BOE by Resolution of the president of the CNEAI and director of ANECA.
