Fourier Web: mathematician of the 2019-2020 course

The Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics devotes the 2019-2020 course to the French mathematician, physicist and egyptist Joseph Fourier (1768-1830).
Fourier is "known for his work on the decomposition of periodic functions in convergent trigonometric series called Fourier series and their application to the problems of the propagation of heat (Fourier Law). The Fourier transform has this name in its honor. In Fourier, it is also credited generally with the discovery of the greenhouse effect. "Source: Wikipedia
This website collects bibliographic and documentary information from Fourier and in the library throughout the course, there are books on the topic in which he worked.
