The Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics dedicates the academic year 2021-2022 to Andrei Nikolayevich Kolmogorov (1903-1987).
Kolmogorov is considered one of the most eminent mathematicians of contemporary mathematics and also one of the greatest exponents of mathematics schools in the Soviet Union contributing to the development of Russian mathematics education during the second half of the twentieth century.
