Google has launched Scholar Labs, a new functionality within Google Scholar which incorporates artificial intelligence to offer more contextualized academic answers. The tool, still in beta, allows experimentation with AI-based searches and opens the door to new ways of interacting with scientific literature.
According to the initial analysis published in ThinkEPI Yearbook, Scholar Labs shows potential to enrich information retrieval and facilitate access to complementary resources, although it still presents limitations.
