In 2019 the 40th General Conference of UNESCO proclaimed the day March 14 el International Mathematics Day.
In the current context of the global pandemic, mathematics is considered essential to help meet current challenges such as climate change, artificial intelligence, L'energy and sustainable development and ultimately to improve the quality of life of the developed world and the developing world. That is why the motto of 2021 is "Mathematics for a better world".
