Introduction to Architecture and Project

It has recently joined the Digital Memory of the UPC the slide collection of Peter Riera which document the teaching of the subject Introduction to Architecture and Project from 1978 to 1983. His most characteristic exercise was that of the cabin which consisted of the design and construction, with a budget limited, of a cabin in the woods of the School where ten people could be accommodated and where an acceptable level of comfort could be maintained for 6 days and 6 nights.

The collection, in addition to paying tribute to a whole generation of teachers and students who carried out an innovative pedagogical project in a still strongly repressive historical context, has a high historical value. Likewise, it contributes to understanding the origins of the School's character and personality, which are still reflected in many of the activities that take place there.
