Antonia Doblas, widow of the professor ofETSAB, Antonio Castro Villalba, in 2022 he donated part of his personal library to the Oriol Bohigas Library of ETSAB to make it available to the research community, as well as architects, teachers and students of the School itself.
Antonio Castro Villalba (Tetuán, August 16, 1941 - Barcelona, November 5, 2020). He obtained the title of architect in 1975 and the doctorate in 1987, both at the Escola Técnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB) where he began working as a Reproduction and Photography Laboratory Teacher in 1968. Later, in 1976, he began teaching at the Department of Construction where he was a professor until his retirement in 2005. He received the extraordinary Ph.D. in 1992. He published some books and participated in congresses as a specialist in the history of construction.
The library consists of more than 70 titles, most of them published between 1666 and s. XIX, specialized in architecture and construction and can be located in the search engine DiscoveryUPC of the Libraries of the UPC.
