La UPC, through the Consortium of University Services of Catalonia (CSUC), has contracted Turnitin Originality which replaces the previous Original software.
This new tool expands the capabilities of plagiarism detection by incorporating artificial intelligence to identify artificially generated text and other forms of academic manipulation. The platform will be directly integrated into the teaching platforms —ATENEA, ATENEA TFE and Phedra— to facilitate the verification of assignments and activities.
The new service will be available from August 4th and access will be for exclusive use by Teaching and Research Staff (PDI) and the PTGAS of the university. UPC.
