To make a reservation
- Log in to DiscoveryUPC
If you have problems or don't know how to do it, follow these instructions.
- Search for the document you want to reserve and click on the title to access the full record.
- In the section Copies at UPC, you will see the available copies and the loan conditions for each copy according to your user profile.
- Click Book at UPC.

Once the form is opened:
- Choose the library where you want to pick up the document. If you are a PDI or PTGAS and want to receive the document directly at your workplace, select the option Receive at the workplace.
- Send the request.
- If the request has been sent successfully, a confirmation message will appear.
- When the document is ready, you will receive an email to come and pick it up within 5 daysIf you are a PDI or PTGAS and you have chosen Receive it at your workplace, it will arrive at your office by internal mail.
You don't see the Book button on the UPC or doesn't it let you make the reservation?
- You have reached the maximum number of simultaneous reservations you are entitled to.
- You already have another copy of the same document.
- There is no copy available for your user profile.
- You have a penalty.
- Click on the name of each library if you need to reserve a specific volume.
Didn't find what you were looking for?
- Expand your search toCatalan area to see if there are any copies available to request from CSUC member libraries through the PUC.
- Expand your search toInternational scope to request an article or chapter if you don't need the entire document.
- If you still can't find what you need, ask for it. Interlibrary Loan (may have a cost).
To check or cancel a reservation
You can check the status of your reservations in the Requests section at My Account. If you are no longer interested in the reservation, you can cancel it from here.
