This study is part of recerTIC UPC, a set of jobs, elaborated by the Rector Gabriel Ferraté Library (BRGF) and dedicated to offer a representative vision of the scientific production of the UPC on topics emerging from the field of ICT. The base of the study recerTIC UPC in data science and engineering are the articles of journal and the publications of conferences with responsibility UPC, published between 2007 and 2017 and indexed in the database Web of Science (WoS) to date 23 / 07 / 2018.
