The Catalan Poetry Collection of the Rector Gabriel Ferraté Library is a unique and very remarkable collection within the bibliographic heritage of the UPC, which makes this website more accessible, both for specialists and for the general public interested in delving into the world of Catalan poetry through authors and works that are often little known.
The nucleus of the Catalan Poetry Collection of the Rector Gabriel Ferraté Library is the Llegat Ferraté, a private collection made up of approximately 4.500 copies of Catalan poetry from the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, bequeathed by its owner. first rector: Gabriel Ferraté and Pascual. The Collection is enriched with Catalan plays in verse, editions of the Floral Games of different Catalan cities, serial publications and translations into Catalan of great universal classics.
The Ferraté Legacy is complemented by the New Poetry Collection, which includes works in Catalan written by Catalan authors and published during the last third of the XNUMXth century and up to the present day.
