Library chat

With the service of chat we answer your queries instantly.

  • You must use your credentials UPC ( o to establish the chat with libraries. Once in the chat, type the name of your library (biblioteca.xxxx) in the search box and you will find us. The green color indicates that we are available.
  • We use the tools of Google Suite that the UPC has made it available to the university community.
  • If the query requires it, we will start a video conference with the G-Suite Meet tool. In this case, we will send you an email with the link to the video conference, where you must give us your consent.

The libraries offer a reduced opening hours with prior reservation. However, we continue to work from home to offer you all the services we can provide online:

FAQS Loans, renewals and bookings

As of Monday, July 20, libraries are closed until further notice. You can still make reservations at DiscoveryUPC but they may not be served until the beginning of the new academic year.

We have automatically renewed all loans until the beginning of the next academic year. If you want to return them sooner, you can do so in any of the 24-hour mailboxes you will find in the following libraries:

You can continue to send requests for articles and books to the Interlibrary Loan service, but we can only process requests for articles in electronic format that do not require prior scanning.

Requests for books on paper or that require scanning will be handled when the situation normalizes.

Remember that we have a wide collection of books and electronic journals, as well as databases and that some suppliers have expanded the number of resources or the conditions of access to contracted resources.

  • To find articles, click "Digital Library = Full Text ".
