With the new edition of JCR 2021 (with data from 2020) 3 new features are introduced in a new, more modern and user-friendly WoS platform:
- The coverage of journals is extended to all indexed in the main Web of Science (WoS) collection, including the journals of the Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) and the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). ).
- Journto the Citation Indicator (JCI), the new standardized quality indicator. It analyzes the citations received during 3 years and allows to compare magazines of different thematic areas.
- The Selfurnto the Impact Factor (JIF) will continue to be offered only for Science and Social Science. The new JCI indicator will be given for all journals including those of AHCI and ESCI.
