We inform you that within the framework of the celebration of OEWeek next week (March 2-6) and within the activities organized by REBIUN, the new version of the LEARN portal.
The new APRÈN represents a significant evolution of the portal, leaving behind a model based exclusively on hosting teaching materials deposited in UPCommons and integrates data from PRISMA and DRACThis new data architecture allows for a more precise faceted navigation that links each activity with its academic and organic context. The user experience is also optimized with the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence, based on Gemini, to offer summaries of weekly activity, syntheses of materials in PDF and an innovation radar that detects emerging concepts in the TFG and TFM.
The objectives of the portal are: strengthen the visibility and impact of the teaching production of the faculty UPC, giving it institutional value, increasing the open access publication of teaching content and facilitating its reuse as a tool for improving teaching. At the same time, it contributes to uniquely identifying authorship —both in terms of personal name and institutional affiliation— and to promoting UPCommons as an institutional repository to collect and preserve the University's academic production.
