These are the principles, first defined in 2016 in the journal Scientific data, which must comply with the search data and its metadata in order to be retrievable and reusable by other people and machines. Increasingly, funding agencies such as H2020 and the State Plan require researchers to develop a Data Management Plan (DMP) which is a methodological document that describes the life cycle of data collected, generated and processed during a research project, a doctoral thesis, etc.
