Services for people with educational support needs (disability, specific educational needs) are personalized services that facilitate access to and use of library resources and services to promote equal opportunities for all members of the university community.
The SBPA participates in the CESAER Open Science Working Group, in the framework of which 2 reports have just been published in which the UPC is present:
Compendex is a database of bibliographic references and journal abstracts, technical reports and conference proceedings in the field of engineering. The access platform, Engineering Village, also allows Inspec and Paperchem to be consulted simultaneously.
IEEE Xplore is a full-text database of subscribed years of journals, standards, and conference proceedings published by the Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Institute of Electric Engineering (IET). It contains more than 5 million documents.
#GEODoctorateUPC is a project of the Library, Publications and Archives Service of the UPC with the support of PRISMA, the Doctoral School and the Academic Management Service of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) that allows you to view the country of origin of the doctoral students there
To publish datasets following FAIR criteria (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), the research staff of the UPC hasUPCommons Research Data and, for data collections larger than 2GB, CORA-RDR.
What are we talking about when we talk about Open Science at the UPC? We talk about scientific publishing, FAIR research data, metrics, integrity, open education, and more.
