The Governing Council of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) approved at the end of 2025 the research data management regulationsThe document defines the obligations and responsibilities in relation to the research data of the UPC and research staff:
- Collect and organize data responsibly, in accordance with ethical principles and the protection of personal data.
- Prepare the Data Management Plan and deposit it in UPCommons .
- Store data in secure environments
- Publish data following FAIR principles, in trusted repositories such as CORA.RDR
- Inform DRAC of datasets published in repositories
When research involves the use of personal data or experimentation with people, the Ethics Committee must evaluate former before the research project and issue a favorable opinion.
