Coinciding with the celebration of the 7th Day UPC of Open Science, it is the perfect time to take stock of how we are transforming research in Universitat Politècnica de CatalunyaIn collaboration with the Libraries, Publications and Archives Service, the university is taking a very important leap forward with three key innovations:
- Roadmap UPC 2028 Open Science: the new strategic framework that will guide our future actions.
- New Research Data Management Regulations: an indispensable tool to ensure that knowledge is preserved and shared correctly and securely.
- CoreTrustSeal: the CORA.RDR repository has obtained this prestigious international certification that guarantees maximum reliability in long-term data conservation.
All this gear has a very clear objective: to support our research staff. As Gemma Fargas explains in this video, the support of the Libraries UPC is key so that articles and datasets are not only published in UPCommons, but rather that they comply with the publication mandates and FAIR data requirements (findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable).
