A visualization tool built into the author records of the new Web of Science to measure the performance of citations of articles and reviews by an author from 1980 to the present (except for the last two years).
The metric they use is the standardized percentile of citations and can range from 0 to 100. A score of 90 means that the article is among the 10% of the most cited publications in the same year, type of publication and subject area.
To consult it, go to Web of Science and click the futura Web of Science "click here to access the preview" and search by author.
