El Roadmap UPC 2028 open science, approved by the Governing Council on June 3, constitutes a strategic instrument to guide the actions of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC) towards a more open, collaborative and high social impact research model, and builds on the previous Roadmap UPC Open Science 2025.
The actions of this new roadmap are part of the Action Plan UPC 2025 - 28 and are aligned with national and international open science strategies. In this new framework, the present context is analyzed and new future needs are identified.
This new roadmap will be formally presented at the 7th Day UPC of Open Science, on July 7, 2026, to which you are all invited.
